JOB DUTIESGreet guests and customers; make golf cart reservations through reservation system and complete credit card payment transactions. Follow safety procedures while performing job duties, including safely operating golf carts. Clean and maintain golf carts and wash areas on a daily basis. Provide guests with golf cart operation and equipment instructions. Provide information and respond to guest inquiries regarding the resort and local attractions, directions, etc. Ensure guests follow proper safety procedures when operating golf carts. Inspect golf cart and equipment to detect wear and damage and to ensure the safety, cleanliness and proper working order; perform minor repairs and communicate major damage and additional maintenance concerns to Guest Services Supervisor. Ensure golf cart batteries are charged on a daily basis. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience and/or knowledge of golf cart maintenance, preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
- Ability to endure seasonal temperatures as working conditions require constant outdoor work
- Intermediate computer proficiency including the ability to use email and the internet
