Reindeer/Bambi Room Attendant - Winter 2017-18

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Provide a safe, positive, organized and monitored inside environment for children participating in Ski School ski programs JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 18 years of age Previous work experience with children in a child care environment is helpful Attention to detail is a must. Able to write detailed documentation for parents of special circumstances that occur Patient; have ability to remain calm and positive during stressful times; enjoy working with children eight hours a day Able to lift at least 40 lbs, stand for long periods of time and withstand frequent up-and-down/ twisting/repetitive movements JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate Early Drop-off by signing in and monitoring children Attend to children's personal needs Maintain a safe, clean and organized environment Assist with preparing for lunch and with basic clean up Assist Supervisors with various indoor tasks, such as, set up, cleaning, dressing children, etc. Attend daily morning meeting Sign in, monitor and assist special needs children DEER VALLEY SKIER SERVICES EXPECTATIONS: Exemplify a strong work ethic Function as a team player Interact with members of Skier Services peer group, instructors, agents and supervisors in a positive and professional manner Interact positively with other Deer Valley Resort employees Communicate any suggestions or concerns to manager in a timely manner Speak and act professionally while on duty Support/follow Deer Valley Resort policies and procedures and Deer Valley Employee Handbook guidelines Be a good example to those around you with a positive, supportive attitude DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: December to mid April Keywords: ski school, child, child care, skier services, customer service, guest services, indoor, instructor, winter, Deer Valley, DV, Park City, Utah, UT.
