  • Assist customers promptly and cheerfully. Greet customers and provide them with great service.

  • Make clean, neat, and friendly impression on customers.
  • Ensuring safe, effective and efficient customer service is provided throughout department.
  • Provide a clean, efficient working environment for Frontend and Customer Service.
  • Coach and train on Frontend Best Practices which include Customer Tracker, Associate Insights, Cash Over and Short, Checklane Crewing Guide, Enterprise Labor Management System utilization, Customer Comment Cards, and Frontend Supervisor Evaluations.
  • Responsible for managing Customer traffic flow to meet company standards and provide our customers with fast and friendly service at the check stands.
  • Demonstrating the ability and desire to promote, communicate and implement company initiatives and process improvements to direct reports in a positive and respectful manner.
  • Providing active support of our Customer 1st culture.
  • Supporting Store Management and Customer Service Manager in maintaining a well-organized, clean, pleasant shopping environment at the check stands, front-end, Self Service Checkouts, Customer Service Center, lobby, restrooms and parking lot area.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports on the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Willing and available to weekends and holidays.
  • Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills that engage our customers and associates.
  • Able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins.
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, present information in a professional manner and work with all levels of the organization.
  • Personal initiative and follow through to completion.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and willingness to help all members of the department.
  • Possess abilities and skills for effective production, merchandising, and customer services related to sale of merchandise.
  • Must be able to work with various cleaning solutions, safely use sharp tools, and carefully operate all production equipment.
