General DescriptionOur qualified candidate will lead, drive, champion the integration of wellbeing programs with the company s engagement strategy. They will manage selection process and ongoing relationship with wellbeing solution vendor. Must be able to work closely with communications team to drive successful marketing campaigns related to benefits and wellness programs. Development of integrated project plan for all benefits department responsibilities and programs. Assist department manager and team in alignment and tracking of activities and prepare program updates for leadership. Conduct market research and assist in development of market leading benefits plans and wellness programs. Design and manage methods to reward healthy living strategies and outcomes. Develop and present analytics in support of new program design, measurement of utilization, compliance, and internal plan marketing strategies. Participate in compliance audits and production of regulatory required program documentation and reporting.
Necessary Skills / Attributes Bachelor s degree, preferably in business, human resources, economics, finance or math related fields with 7-10 years of relevant experience.
Progressive experience with the design and administration of employee benefits and wellness programs or equivalent relevant capabilities.
Prefer five (5) or more years of experience in benefits/wellness plan administration and compliance.
Self-starter and very proactive. with a love for Excel!
Advanced level skill in Microsoft Office 2003 or later: Word, Excel (vlookup, formulas, pivot tables, graphs and charts, etc.) and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of analytical tools used within the benefits area to evaluate benefits costs/expenses, utilization, compliance, plan/cost modeling, etc.
Experience with analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
Excellent knowledge of benefits administration policies, practices, and procedures.
Strong knowledge of Federal, state, and municipal privacy laws and the applicability to the day-to-day operation of benefits areas.
Ability to interface and communicate effectively in a clear and concise manner with all levels of employees, managers, vendors, consultants, and legal advisors. Excellent communication skills are necessary along with very good facilitation and administrative skills.
Ability to work with confidential materials and employee information and maintain confidentiality at all times.
