Position Responsibilities:

New opportunity based inBillericaMA for a Sr. Benefits Specialist to help manage the strategy, administration, and communication for benefit offerings and programs for the Americas, including: retirement, medical, dental, life and disability insurances, leaves of absence, employee assistance programs, flexible spending accounts, HRAs.

  • Collaborate with Benefits Manager to deliver a successful open enrollment process.
  • Coordinate and ensure the accuracy of all benefits enrollments to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.
  • Lead new-hire orientations.
  • Perform quality checks of benefits-related data.
  • Assist and support employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes.
  • Distribute all benefits enrollment materials and coordinate with Benefits Manager to determines eligibility.
  • Enroll employees with carriers and process life status changes.
  • Respond to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
  • Process and administer all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA.
  • Effectively interpret FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities.
  • Respond to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts and manage contribution enrollment.
  • Administer the tuition reimbursement program.
  • Perform audit activities and coordinate allocation/billing charges.
  • Collaborate with Payroll, HRIT, and HR Business Partners on benefits matters.
  • Respond to benefits inquiries and provide quick, equitable, courteous resolution along with informative and reliable customer-focused support.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree with minimum 5 years of relevant Human Resources Benefits work experience.
  • Demonstrated success in a variety of business environments and in roles of progressively increasing responsibility.
  • Outstanding, recent knowledge of regulations, regulatory requirements, benefit policies and practices.
  • Unquestioned integrity and ethics in the application of such standards.
  • Current knowledge of trends in Benefit functional best-practices.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office and Windows, Adobe along with working knowledge of SuccessFactors, iCims, Ultipro and other HR applications.
  • Professional HR Certification highly desirable (SHRM-CP, HRCI PHR, CEBS).
  • Excellent oral, written, computer, interpersonal, and group communication and presentation skills as well as proven ability to coordinate effectively with diverse people at various organization levels with the right level of detail and cultural sensitivity.
  • Proven strength in workload prioritization, resource management and project management, including ability to manage processes that are customer-focused, effective, and efficient.
  • Superior interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal), and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain positive work relationships across the company, at the group, divisional, functional, and corporate levels.
  • Possesses desired behavioral attributes: Adaptable, Resilient, Accurate and Rigorous, Inquisitive and Probing, Courageous, Assertive and Influential.
  • Professional HR Certification highly desirable (SHRM-CP, HRCI PHR, CEBS).
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills; communicates effectively with diverse people at various organization levels with the right level of detail and cultural sensitivity.
  • Valid Drivers License in good standing, issued by resident state required.

  • Valid Passport with ability for domestic and international travel required.

  • May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
