About this job

Hotel General Manager (Columbia, SC)

This Manager position requires a hands-on, self-starter. An entrepreneurial leader to guide the business through proper recruitment and training of employees, ongoing maintenance and housekeeping operations and the direction of a strong Sales and Marketing effort. This Manager will thrive on interacting with guests and being "present" in the operation with minimal time spent in an office. Local candidates with a solid knowledge of the Southeast tourism market and limited mid-scale to upper mid-scale hotel experience plus a sales and operations background, and a proven track record get the edge. Our preference is for a seasoned GM (2 years +) but we will consider very experienced AGM's ready to take on a strong leadership role.
