Description Conduct detailed cost and value analysis for Regional Segment clients.
Prepare client specific cost, trend and utilization analysis on an approximately 36-42 account book of business. Present results and recommendations to clients. Evaluate client specific (when available) return of Cigna's clinical and decision support tools and programs. Identify and quantify benefit program opportunities that enhance Cigna's relationship with each client. Act as an internal analytical consultant for external requests (consultant, client, account team). Conduct ad hoc analyses by synthesizing large volumes of data into meaningful conclusions that help the client make informed decisions. Establish partnership with sales executives in defining client engagement strategy, as well as health promotion mangers and onsite clinic medical staff. Deliver client-specific information to drive/validate overall engagement strategy. Support account engagement strategy via: Demonstrating product opportunity during client result presentations Establishing direct client relationships on key accounts with client influencers/buyers. Identify emerging risks and opportunities to distribution leadership. Analyze network opportunity through Client specific networks assessments Drive the continual development of `Best Practice medical cost analytics and forecasting tools. Identify opportunities to enhance analytic tools and develop new forecasting tools. Manage and deliver project work associated with Cigna product initiatives that require informatics build and support
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree highly desired with 8+ years of related business experience strongly preferred Demonstrated results and experience in medical economics Technical: Knowledge of data processing software (Access, Excel) Understand detailed technical processes and create project specifications to support ongoing improvement of Cigna s financial modeling capabilities and scale successful pilot programs.Client Focus: Demonstrate passion for and dedication to anticipating and meeting the expectations and requirements of clients. Lead client discussions and effectively represent subject expertiseAnalytical: Manage the synthesis of large data-sets into meaningful information used to drive action. Determine opportunities and identify solutions to increase analytical processing efficiency.
Communication: Communicate analytical findings/gaps/solutions to senior management at client organizations. Prepare account team for client interactions by ensuring a clear understanding of informatics capabilities.
Influencing: Educate account team so that they better understand medical cost drivers and manage client needs/demands. Influence business partners in a way that drives profitable growth.Ability to Collaborate: Demonstrated ability creating professional relationships Effectively partner with and influence a cross-functional team.
