About this job
Responsible for set up and break down of event space, ensuring set up according to Banquet Event Order. Ensure guest needs are attended to and public event spaces are maintained before, during and after events.
Ensure supplies are available according to the Banquet Event Order and equipment is set up and functioning properly. Periodically tidy the space during events, clearing away dishes, straightening furnishings, and refreshing soiled linen.
Keep track of event supplies, equipment and carefully store furnishings when not in use, promptly reporting repair and maintenance needs. Perform duties including vacuuming floors, cleaning walls, windows and mirrors in event space and surrounding public areas.
Assist with banquet service and attend to guest needs and special requests.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds.
