Payroll / Benefits Specialist Needed Near Wheeling, IL


Direct hire ; permanent position


Salary $20. 00 - $26. 00/hr. (overtime is paid)


Requirements:



  • 2-3 years, experience with processing payroll for 1200+ hourly temp employees, weekly run

  • Education: Associates or higher

  • Excel Skills extremely important

  • A "customer service" approach to managing the employees

  • Ultimate (Ulti-Pro), Empower or similar Payroll software

  • HR experience a plus

  • Bi-lingual (Spanish and English required)

  • Responsible for creating/distributing paychecks.


Responsibilities



  • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll

  • Enter new hire and terminated employee data

  • Coordinate open enrollment meetings

  • Responsible for enrollments or terminations from benefit plans
