Job Description
Northrop Grumman Technical Services is seeking a Logistics Planner 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals who provide Logistics Planning Support, Aircraft Systems Integration, and Maintenance Support for assigned systems through analysis of Engineering Data Packages and Customer Directives. Selected applicants may be asked to perform a wide range of Logistics Support tasks within the organization. Many of these tasks include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Analyze technical data and reports to determine spares and support equipment provisioning requirements.
  • Develop acceptance and formulates specific recommendations for spare/repair parts and support equipment.
  • Manage and control the asset position of customer inventories, originate support plans for offer to potential customers and provide technical assistance to existing customer personnel.
  • Forecast and manage budget systems, develop new concepts, techniques, and standards.
  • Interpret Engineering Data and translate it into processes, procedures, tech data, and training material.
  • Manage, collect and assess performance metrics, additional supportability, quantitative reporting, and quality measurements.
  • Manage data entry for an electronic Maintenance collection Database.
  • Perform maintenance validation and verification of developed procedures.
  • Perform continuous improvement of standard practices, processes and software utilization, data interchange systems, electronic data systems administration and related functions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Applicants must have a minimum of 6 years experience with Bachelor s Degree; 4 years with Master s Degree. In lieu of formal education, candidate may possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in aircraft Avionics and Communications/Navigation specialties.
  • Candidate must possess and be able to maintain a minimum Secret Security Clearance.
  • Applicants must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
  • Applicants should have a complete understanding of technical data and training development.
  • Position requires a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
    Interpret Engineering Data and translate it into Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) maintenance, flight procedures and training programs.
  • Manage performance metrics and additional supportability, quantitative reporting, and assessment measurements.
  • Assists in performing maintenance validation/verification of developed procedures.
  • Currently has a DoD secret security clearance investigation conducted within in the last 5 years and has held and maintained a secret DoD security clearance.
