Position Summary:

The primary function of the Assistant Executive Housekeeper is to ensure the cleanliness of the rooms, the condos, and luxury homes, public space areas. The Assistant Executive Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining proper staffing levels and scheduling. Additionally, ensures staff is trained in all aspects of Housekeeping, and provides proper follow up to ensure high standards.

Essential Functions:

Managerial Effectiveness:
  • Direct supervision of Associates within the Housekeeping Department
  • Primary focus will be the smooth operation of the Condos, Houses, and all outlying Public Space areas.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, reports, inventories, and payroll
  • Establish weekly schedules
  • Assist in written performance feedback documentation-reviews, training progress reports, and discipline

Safety Compliance:
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within Housekeeping department.
  • Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment; makes arrangements for repair and/or replacement of used and damaged equipment.
  • Conduct pre-arrival inspections of all rooms, townhouses, executive homes and public areas.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2 years of management experience in housekeeping, supervising 20+ associates
  • The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitask
  • Working knowledge of room management systems
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Capable of using independent judgment/solid decision making skills
  • Activator/self-motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of urgency and responsibility.
  • Proficiency with general office equipment
  • Sound organizational, coordinating and personal interface skills.
  • Must be able to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to speak English
  • Analytical skills necessary to develop suitable staffing patterns and prepare budgets
