Job Summary
The role as a room attendant is mainly to ensure that the rooms are clean, neat, and tidy at all times. This involves making sure the general appearance of the room, is not only hygienic but that it is also well decorated to make the room look attractive and very appealing to the guest inhabiting it.
Requirements: Competencies
- Reports needed repairs of unsafe conditions to supervisor
- Responds quickly to the request from guests, supervisors or management in a timely, friendly and efficient manor
- Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction
- Change and make guest room beds to hotel standard
- Sort and separates soiled linens. Replenish linen
- Vacuum carpets and wash floors in guest rooms
- Replenish all required amenities and supplies required in guest room
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, commodes, tubs, and showers daily
- Must handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc
- All other duties assigned
