This position is responsible for the processing of NMDP's biweekly multi-jurisdictional payroll. This position will also support the HR Operations team, primarily the benefits and HCM functions. Primary contact for general human resources questions, benefit issues, resolution of payroll discrepancies and interpretation of human resources policies and procedures.

Minimum Education:

HS diploma or GED; completion of some college course work is preferred.

Minimum Experience:

2 or more years of payroll responsibility, preferably in a multi-state organization using ADP payroll. 2 or more years of experience working with benefits vendors and benefit plans.

Key Knowledge:

Principles of payroll, payroll tax practices, state and federal regulations related to payroll administration. Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems including ADP payroll processing. Experience working with Benefit plans and vendors.

Key Skills:

Results-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills; excellent problem-solving and follow-through skills. Ability to plan and prioritize work activities, use time efficiently, meet deadlines and follow-up on assignments with minimal direction. Ability to work independently and as a team member. An understanding of how the interrelationship of people/ processes and technologies create results and the ability to navigate and build relationships and strategic partnerships at all levels across the organization and externally. Demonstrates diplomacy and an ability to maintain confidentiality.
