Hotel Housekeeping Attendants - Full-time / Part-time

Job Summary

We are seeking Room Attendants, Lobby Attendants, Housepersons and an Inspector.

Location: Matteson, IL

RESPONSIBILITIES

Housekeepers: Clean and sanitize guest rooms. Work closely with housekeeping manager, inspectors and front desk to communicate when rooms are ready for guests to occupy. Ensures rooms are cleaned to required quality standards. Smiles and is friendly to co-workers, guests and property employees.

Lobby Attendant: Ensures public areas, floors, bathrooms and entranceways are clean and presentable for incoming guests.

Houseman: Assist housekeepers with stocking towels and linens, furnishings and any other supplies a guest may need or request. Houseman also maintains common areas. Ensures rooms are cleaned to required quality standards. Smiles and is friendly to co-workers, guests and property employees.

Laundry: Sort, wash, iron and fold hotel laundries and linens. Assist in stocking housekeeping carts with fresh towels and linen. Ensures rooms are cleaned to required quality standards. Smiles and is friendly to co-workers, guests and property employees.

Inspector Supervisor: Housekeeping inspectors ensure that the company meets all cleanliness and condition requirements. Responsibilities include recording inspection results, resolving guest complaints and maintaining accommodations standards. Their role also involves developing and training other housekeeping staff. Housekeeping inspectors examine rooms prior to guests arriving and conduct inspections upon their departure to assess if any damages have occurred. They function as the primary contact between housekeeping personnel and other staff members to make certain that rooms are ready for guests. In addition to counting linens, they deliver amenities and help clean rooms as needed.

REQUIREMENTS: Previous housekeeping experience is not required but will be considered an asset.

PAY RATE: DOE & Performance. There is no limit on the number of rooms that will be assigned as long as there is availability and you can clean them effectively, so you have the opportunity to clean more rooms and make more money!
