Meeker Manor Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Aide from November-January.

Maintains the facility according to the established housekeeping rules, policies and procedures. To secure a high standard of cleanliness for our residents. This position is responsible to clean, dust and mop all areas in the health care center to assure cleanliness

Duties:

Cleans and services resident rooms including: dusting furniture, fixtures, equipment; dust mops floors; disinfects toilets, scour and polishes bathtubs, showers, sinks, mirrors and similar areas/equipment; polish hand rails, doors, door frames; wash windows, sill and radiators; empties, cleans and disinfects trash cans/baskets; washes wheelchairs, walkers, beds; Disinfect utensils; changes divider curtains when needed. Keeps utility storage rooms clean and orderly, cleans nurses' stations, dietary kitchens, and break room, replenishes supplies

Qualifications:

Must be able and willing to work with other staff, accept instruction from supervisors and communicate appropriately with residents, visitors and staff. Must be able to work with or without supervision and be a team player. Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Must qualify for employment, after criminal background check, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
