Job Description:
Seeking a Subject Matter Expert to support FEMA programs involving disaster recovery efforts. This position requires strong skills in the area of assessment, communication, logistics, planning, and risk mitigation.
The candidate should have prior experience in coordinating contractors in activities related to planning and assistance, disaster response and preparedness, evaluations and assessments. This position will be performed in a multidisciplinary team environment with tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, will be enthusiastic, and will work well in a team environment.
This is a Part Time, On-Call position, and hours will vary based on requirements and individual skill set mix. The individual must obtain and maintain a minimum of a Secret clearance before any paid work will begin.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor s Degree
- Must be a US Citizen and be must be eligible to receive a Secret security clearance within one year of hire;
Desired Skills:
- 16 years of progressive disaster recovery experience.
