Food & Beverage Attendants will greet customers, assess their needs, make recommendations, and answer questions in an effort to provide an exceptional customer experience as they help patrons through the ordering and fulfillment process. Food & Beverage Attendants may be assigned to work in any of our lodges' convenience food areas, including:

• Pizza Shop
• Coffee Shop
• Confectionary Shop
• Snack Bar

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure the daily operation of the convenience food area adheres to operating procedure guidelines.
• Provide outstanding customer service and engage in suggestive selling.
• Assist in merchandising functions including display and store design, inventory receiving, stocking, and merchandise pricing.
• Perform cash-handling functions, including point-of-sale (POS) system, registers, and daily reporting.
• Ensure convenience food area adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
• Monitor supply levels in serving area and replenish as necessary.
• Liaise with kitchen staff to ensure food and beverage readiness, address shortages, and notify of special orders.
• Operate beverage machines, including milkshake and frozen custard. Prepare hot beverages.
• Monitor equipment operation, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, maintain supplies, and call for repairs as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all food-handling and sanitation regulations.
• Support Project Green Wolf, our company-wide environmental sustainability initiative.
• Promote a safe and professional workplace by adhering to policies and procedures outlined in the Great Wolf Resorts Handbook.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

• High school education or equivalent; may have current enrollment.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Thorough understanding of sanitation-related issues; knowledge of precautions necessary to ensure a clean food preparation environment

• Strong customer focus and communication skills.
• Outgoing and assertive personality.
• Ability to work in a team environment with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to read and write English, and to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills with ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Flexible regarding scheduling as it is based on business demands.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
• Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stretch and twist.
