Shaner has an immediate opportunity for an Executive Housekeeper to join our team at our brand-new Fairfield Inn Daytona located in Daytona, Florida. The Fairfield Inn Daytona will be one of two featured hotels in the new ONE DAYTONA area at the Daytona International Speedway. ONE DAYTONA will serve as Daytona's epicenter for premier entertainment, retail and dining. The hotel will feature spacious and modern guest rooms, a lobby bar, 24/7 market, pool and fitness center, business center and flexible work spaces, free high-speed Internet and complimentary breakfast. The hotel is slated to open in the 4th quarter 2017.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with strong communication skills. Responsibilities will consist of supervising, training, hiring, coaching, planning and scheduling work assignments and the daily monitoring of tasks. The Executive Housekeeper will assist with cleaning when necessary to achieve optimum service to guests. They will also ensure all safety, security and Hotel policies/procedures are observed and that areas of responsibilities (keys, linen, supply closets and storeroom) are well-maintained. This person will also inspect rooms for compliance with established cleanliness, maintenance, and comfort as per Shaner and Marriott standards. We are seeking a positive, hands-on, organized leader with strong problem-solving abilities who can promote teamwork. Experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
