Domestic Travel Agent

Responsible to sell and plan drive related trips, discuss routes, review and high-light maps, provide insight into things to do and see, provide travel information, tour books, maps in order to provide a quality member experience.

Sales include AAA membership and travel related items (car, hotel, attraction tickets, domestic packages without air, IDP's, etc.)

Employees are required to support the lead generation initiative by providing qualified leads to other business lines of AAA Arizona that include Travel, Insurance, Automotive, and Financial.

Support the front desk/cashier. Additional responsibilities include cashiering, inventory, branch opening and closing duties, and member concierge duties. Maintain Arizona notary bond and provide services as requested.

May perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

High School

0-3 (entry)

Previous sales, and customer service expertise. Travel industry experience preferred.
Within first two years in position must become certified in the Travel Institute's North American Destination Specialist.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

Current Arizona notary bond or the ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
