Description:

Interact with benefits providers and employees, such as by assisting in handling employees' benefits related questions or problem resolution.

Responsibilities include:

* Gather data and verify accuracy for reporting requirements, with high attention to detail.

* Maintain records and compile statistical reports.

* Effectively create, update, report, and track annual Benefits budget and spend.

* Through comprehensive data analysis and reporting, balance all invoices and efficiently resolve any discrepancies.

* Conduct program and plan audits to ensure compliance and appropriate spend.

* Responsible for the integrity of benefits data and the timely and accurate transmission of inbound and outbound vendor reporting, assists with managing integration of benefits programs.

* Assists benefit consultants and may serve on cross-functional teams; frequent interactions with management, Finance, Legal and external suppliers and consultants.

* Heavy data, analysis and systems experience with HRIS and recordkeeping systems.

* Prepare Form 5500 filings and SAR distributions.

* Prepare FAS 106/112 for outside actuaries. Prepare and process PCORI and Transitional Reinsurance fee.


Qualifications

* Minimum 3-5 years working on health & welfare plans (including IRS and ERISA regulations), significant current knowledge in administrative best practices and laws and regulations impacting the administration of employee benefits and should be familiar with outsourcing.

* Must be able to review and interpret plan documents and contracts. Additionally, must have experience with enterprise systems, employee self-service and external benefit vendors.

* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office application experience (Word, Excel, Access, InfoPath). Background in finance with strong analytical skills including forecasting, financial management and program measurement.

* Enthusiastic service focused team player and problem solver with strong interpersonal and communication skills. CEBS, CBP or other Benefits coursework or certification desired.

* Successful completion of Auto Club pre-employment assessments, background and drug screenings.
