JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be trusted with sensitive information and tasked to work as accurately and efficiently as possible. You will also:

  • Provide service to employees; including answering benefit questions, resolving benefit related issues, and processing enrollment status changes.
  • Maintain employee benefit programs such as health insurance, supplemental insurance, and retirement plans.
  • Communicate to new hires about enrollment dates and deadlines.
  • Administer Paid Time Off, Sick Time, and Bereavement policies; including answering questions, approving requests, auditing, and reporting.
  • Maintain flow between employees, systems, and payroll for those on leave of absence.
  • Complete monthly invoice reconciliations for benefit plans.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

YOUR BACKGROUND (Skills and Experience):

Along with having strong written and communication skills and a general math knowledge, we are looking for the Benefit Specialist to bring the following:

  • Associates degree in related field (preferred)
  • 2+ years' experience in full cycle benefits administration
  • A high-level proficiency in MS Office
  • ADP Work Force Now experience (preferred)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
    • (unless accommodations are required/requested for an employee under the ADA)
