StaRN Apprenticeship for Graduate Nurse (RN) STAR

Description Standard Qualifications: Come and join ourStaRN Program! We invite new graduate RN's to apply for this unique opportunity. The next program begins onNovember 13, 2017, and is comprised of didactic training, high definition simulation and a clinical preceptorship at West Marion Community Hospital.Note: the first 7 weeks of this program may require some travel to our training center in the Gainesville area. This intensive training program is designed for new graduate Registered Nurses interested in starting their career inMedical Surgical, Telemetry, or Critical Carenursing. Certifications will be gained throughout this program, such as: BLS/ACLS, CPI and NIH Stroke Scale. Thispaidprogram will allow new graduate RN's to obtain experience through an intensive internship program (typically running for around a total of 14 weeks).Upon successful completion of the program, nurses will transition into an available full-time role at West Marion Community Hospital,and will get credit for one year of RN experience (increasing the pay rate), plus we'll take into consideration prior healthcare experience at that time (such as CNA or LPN)! All who are selected for this program will sign a 2 year agreement with WMCH. If a nurse chooses to leave the facility before the 2 year commitment is fulfilled, they may be required to meet a monetary responsibility.
