Business Unit Summary HSNs Information Security Team is responsible for allsecurity functions associated with Information Technology, includingcommunications (voice and data), infrastructure, and policies and procedureswithin the enterprise. This team has the responsibility for enterprise-wideinformation security, compliance and privacy. Ona daily basis, the Information Security Analyst works within the InformationSecurity team to monitor security alerts, respond and remediate detectedissues, and work with the Incident Management process to remove threats andvulnerabilities within the organization. This role collaborates with otherInformation Security and IT Operational teams to maintain a secure environmentand for incident response capabilities. A Day in the Life Dailyreview of security alerts/logs with follow-up on any suspicious activity. Performinvestigation of network and hosts/endpoints for malicious activity, to includeanalysis of packet captures, and assist in efforts to detect, confirm, contain,remediate, and recover from attacks. Proactivelymonitor, identify and analyze complex internal and external threats, includingviruses, targeted attacks and unauthorized access, and mitigate risk to ITsystems. Workin concert with team members, Information Security engineering, and relevantSubject Matter Experts to process, analyze and drive the remediation ofidentified IT related vulnerabilities. Followthe IT Security Incident Response policies and tools. Contributeto Information Security policies, standards, and supporting documentation. Performroot cause analysis and troubleshoot complex issues with existing security andprivacy protection protocols. Respondto inbound security monitoring alerts, emails, and inquiries from theorganization. Providesupport for Incident Response, including evidence collection, documentation,communications, and reporting. Maintainand improve standard operating procedures and processes. Providedocumentation of work through a variety of communications such as ticketing,operational briefs, and status reports. Assistwith the operation and management of vulnerability solutions across the team'sportfolio. Identifysecurity issues and risks, and assist with the development of risk mitigationplans. Helpdrive continual improvement in the security program. Conductsecurity research to maintain current knowledge of latest security trends andissues. Maintaina high level of confidentiality. Must Haves Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cyber Security, InformationSystems, Engineering, or related major and/or prolonged course of study in aspecialized field or equivalent experience. At least 1 year of experience in a relatedjob area (i.e.IT support, information security, identity/accessmanagement, IT Audit, forensics/eDiscovery). Experiencewith security incident management. Experiencewith administration and management of Windows, Linux, UNIX, and mobileoperating systems. Scriptingskills such as Python and Perl. Stronganalytical mindset, natural curiosity to check and double check. Strongorganizational skills and ability to stay focused while managing multiple tasksconcurrently. Excellentoral and written communication skills. Strongteam player with the ability to conduct daily duties autonomously. (Candidateswill be considered in totality of their skills and experience versus strictinterpretation of must haves.) Nice to Haves Softwareprogramming experience. System/networkoperations and administration experience. Arelevant informationsecurity certification (i.e. CompTIASecurity, CISSP, CEH, GCIH). Familiarity with SOC/NOC operations. Experiencewith Real-time monitoring of systems and networks and Malware analysis. IPS/IDSSensor tuning and custom signaturecreation. SIEMexperience.
