Since 1977, HSN has been innovating electronic retail- were looking for the people ready to take us into the next 40 years We are looking for an Associate Producer who can turn their hand to multi-platform production beyond the linear TV network- whether its video tailored to our new iOS app, enhancing the output of sister network HSN2 or generating social media content: we need a team to embrace new ideas and find new ways to find and reach our customer Role involves assisting Producer in anything from shooting on an iPhone to multi-camera studio production- the goal is to drive sales and promote the HSN brand across digital, mobile, social media and TV Candidate must be a strong, versatile story teller and team player able to multi-task and both generate new ideas and manage logistics Day in the Life Apply creativity to new platforms for HSN- for HSN2, online, app and social media- liaise with brand/category producers to translate existing content to the needs of non-live broadcasts Assist Producer with all aspects of production including but not limited to live TV shows, events and online/social media content (may require travel and/or out of hours work) Generate and pitch ideas on a daily basis- including but not limited to compelling, engaging content for social media integration to live TV output Be able to script conversationally for TV (live, taped and VO) and copy (for social media, metadata, graphics) Talent: Book, brief and manage hosts and top tier guests Work with set stylists/ TV live show production team and/or remote crew/post-production Logistics: Book studio space & crew & request GFX and supervise any edits- must be able to work collaboratively with other TV units including leading crew in line producer role for rehearsals, tapings etc. Concept & produce content and post to social channels as needed to drive sales for HSN and promote network initiatives Keys to Success At HSN, if you are Agile, Innovative, Pioneering, Dynamic, Boundaryless, Passionate, Customer-Centric, Collaborative, and Results-Focused, you will love it here! Must Haves 3 years experience in live television or equivalent degree 2 years experience generating content for social media and understanding of how content should be tailored for different platforms Proficient with professional use of social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest and how they can best be deployed in different scenarios Comfortable in very fast-paced, deadline- driven work environment in field where change is constant Have an excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills. Knowledge of video production/graphic design a plus Valid Florida Drivers License Willing to work out of hours/ travel as needed Fast learner of media management systems Candidates will be considered in totality of their skills and experience versus strict interpretation of must haves.
