The next program begins onNovember 13, 2017, and is comprised of didactic training, high definition simulation and a clinical preceptorship at Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center.Note: the first 7 weeks of this program will require travel to our training center in the FWB/Destin area. This intensive training program is designed for new graduate Registered Nurses interested in starting their career in areas of nursing such as:Med/Surg, Orthopedics, ICU & PCU/Stepdown. Certifications will be gained throughout this program, such as: BLS/ACLS, CPI and NIH Stroke Scale. Thispaidprogram will allow new graduate RN's to obtain experience through an intensive internship program (typically running for a total of around 14 weeks).Upon successful completion of the program, nurses will transition into an available full-time role at Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center,and will get credit for one year of RN experience (increasing the pay rate), plus we'll take into consideration prior healthcare experience at that time (such as CNA or LPN)! All who are selected for this program will sign a 2 year agreement with GCRMC. If a nurse chooses to leave the facility before the 2 year commitment is fulfilled, they may be required to meet a monetary responsibility.
