SB - Night Base Area Attendant - Winter Seasonal - Full Time

Job Description

Physical Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Safely lift approximately 30-50 pounds on a regular basis
• Walk, bend over and stand for long periods of time
• Use shovel lifting and pushing snow on a regular basis
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet insurability standards

Minimum skills, experience, and education required for this job:

• High School or GED preferred
• Communicate both verbally and non-verbally in a positive, guest friendly manner
• Report to work timely, dressed, and prepared for your daily assignment
• Adhere to all safety policies
• Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporations Service Excellence standards
• Operating a vehicle could be a function of this position and will require the successful applicant to meet the minimum requirements of the Intrawest Driver s Standards Policy that includes possessing a valid Driver's License and meet insurability standards

Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.:

• Clean restroom facilities and other designated areas
• Empty all trash restroom receptacles
• Damp wipe/dust recycling receptacles as needed
• Maintain a clean Gondola Plaza area and pick up trash and litter
• Snow removal and de-icing in base area as needed
• Moving ski racks and fencing
• Special event set up & tear down
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Miscellaneous information:

• This is an hourly non-exempt position subject to overtime pay
• This position requires working 5 days per week from 1pm to 9:30pm (8 hour shifts)
• Position is required to work weekends and holidays as needed
