Comp. Food Attendant

  • The Comp Food Attendant role is responsible for the set up and break down of food and beverage, and building business relations with guests thru exceptional customer service.

  • Essential Functions include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintain the Club/Concierge Lounge by attending to the overall cleanliness and functioning of its areas and kitchen.

  • Set up and tear down the Club/Concierge Lounge amenities daily, including breakfast items, appetizers, drinks (juice, soda, wine), dish/glassware, etc.

  • Assist in resolving any questions or concerns guests may have and involve other departments/managers as appropriate.

  • Provide an inviting atmosphere where guests may receive a quick meal, drink and/or socialize with other guests.

  • Respond to requests from guests, also providing assistant and information about the local area (e.g. directions, things to do, places to eat, etc) when necessary.

  • Welcome guest in a professional manner.

  • Responsible for maintaining ordering and inventory logs to assure proper food and beverage items are always in stock.

  • Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Superior English Communication Skills (written & verbal)
  • Basic food/beverage knowledge
  • Must possess basic computational ability.
  • ProfessionalDemeanor - Service Oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage time and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent education/experience)
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time (which may include an entire shift)
  • Ability to bend, squat and lift (up to 50 lbs), including, but not limited to, lifting trays of food or food items on a frequent basis.
  • Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of 1 year of experiencein public contact or customer service required.Prior hotel/restaurant experience preferred.

Hospitality is a 24/7 industry therefore, candidates should be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
