We are seeking 2 talented Executive Chefs to lead our culinary operations for a POTENTIAL SALE in the San Francisco Bay area! Our Sodexo Executive Chefs will lead a wide range of services from Premium Seating, Catering to overseeing Concessions and Retail offerings at this large professional sports multi-million dollar venue.

Position is eligible for Relocation & Leisure Chef Incentive Bonus!

The Executive Chef will have face-to-face contact with clients and guests must possess extraordinary communication skills and exhibit the ability to lead and develop culinary staff.

The ideal Executive Chefs will have:

  • Experience with suites, multiple concessions and/or outlets

  • Strong culinary background with experience in high volume venues

  • Emphasis on food presentation, quality, execution, menu design & implementation

  • Knowledge of HACCP, sustainability, purchasing & inventory controls

  • Experience creating and costing menus including specialty menus for catered events

  • College/University/Stadium/Arena culinary experience preferred

  • Strong understanding of financials and strong analytical thinking skills;

  • Great client relations and a desire to be invested in the local campus/community.

Position Summary

Provides culinary leadership within a large sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution.

Key Duties

  • Implements & coordinates the culinary function.

  • Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.

  • Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.

  • Manages catering & retail areas.

  • Customer & Client satisfaction.

  • Financial management to include food cost & labor management.

  • Manages food & physical safety programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelors Degree

Basic Management Experience - 3 years

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
