Housekeeper - All Experience Levels - Northstar California Resort

Job Description:

Housekeeper Entry/Intermediate Job Summary:

• Cleaning guest rooms/condominiums, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting all furniture, vacuuming all carpeted area, remove trash, clean floors.
• set department standards, all supplies and literature are placed accordingly and unit is ready for guests and homeowners
• Stock vans with all items/ amenities need
• Follows the departments safety guidelines and helps promote a positive safety culture within the department
• Report damages, theft and lost and found items
• Maintaining carts, linen rooms, and Housekeeping equipment and supplies in a neat and orderly fashion
• Ensure all areas are secure when leaving.
• Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
• Consistently achieves expectations on cleanliness

Advanced Housekeeper:

• Make sure that the cleanliness exceeds set department standards, all supplies and literature are placed accordingly and unit is ready for guests and homeowners
• Communicate effectively with all area managers and office personal when units are ready for guests or in need of additional maintenance work.
• Follows the departments safety guidelines and helps promote a positive safety culture within the department
• Help train and coach housekeepers within the department as needed
• Deliver quality services by being accountable for cleaning to high standards and identifying and reporting maintenance issues and damages caused by rental guests.
• Minimum 2+ year housekeeping experience working, preferably containing Condo apartments and hotel rooms.
• Exhibits highest productivity within department of 15-18+ credits per shift. Compared to 10-14 credits for entry housekeeper.
• Exhibits highest quality within department receiving consistently 90% or higher on room inspection checklists.
• Consistently achieves expectations on mid and annual reviews.
• Works in the capacity of a trainer for new employees.
• Is trained as a deep clean housekeeper.
• Maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times.

Entry/Intermediate Requirements:

• A passion for guest service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that can include nights, holiday and weekends.
• Team player that will add to a fun collaborative environment.
• Some experience in guest service
• Driver's License Highly Preferred but not required
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs. Required

Advanced Requirements:

• 2 years housekeeping experience
