Sodexo's universities segment is seeking an experience and creative culinarian for an Executive Chef 2 position for the large Catering operation @ Indiana State University . ISU is located in beautiful Terre Haute, Indiana . ISU is an up and coming medium sized public university with a large residential population, two residential dining facilities, 10 retail locations, a growing catering operation with banquet center operations, a faculty/staff dining room and concessions. Reporting to the GM, you will manage 50 associates and oversee this accounts thriving Catering business of over $1MIL.

The ideal candidate:

  • College/university culinary and culinary management experience,

  • High end culinary program experience,

  • Excellent management skills,

  • Experience with food and labor management systems,

  • Experience with on line ordering,

  • Extensive culinary experience with high volume catering;

  • Experience training and leading a culinary team;

  • Culinary degree preferred, but not mandatory.

Position Summary

Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
