About this job

  • Provide course development services as a subject matter expert (SME) on technical engine course development
  • Provide subject matter expertise training services to the Pratt & Whitney customer training Instructional Design team on required engine maintenance training requirements
  • Assist in the development of commercial training course materials on several commercial engines for a variety of engine models and new program engines as they are developed. Pratt & Whitney commercial engine maintenance classes are: General Familiarization, Line & Base Maintenance, Borescope, Blade Blending and eLearning courses
  • Assist in the development of military training course materials on several military engines, specifically for the following engine models: F117, F100-220, F100-229, F119-100, F135-100, and new program engines as they are developed. Pratt & Whitney military engine maintenance classes are: Intermediate Maintenance, Depot, Familiarization, Borescope, Blade Blending, Systems & Troubleshooting, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), and Test Cell.

Qualification: Basic Qualifications:
Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) should have 10+ years of experience. Minimum 4-6+ years required.
Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Power Point; must be able to navigate technical databases.
Must be detail-oriented and a self starter.

Preferred Qualifications:
Graphic Design experience is a plus
Engine design experience a plus
Training or Presentation experience preferred
Education: BS or BA in Mechanical Engineering required; Design or Indurstial Engineering degree will also be considered.
