TheSenior Project Manager Merger & Acquisition and Strategic Initiativeswill be responsible for performing functions to create, plan, initiate, prioritize and maintain key projects for domestic and/or international M&A transactions. This will include pre-closing due diligence, pre-closing integration planning, and post-closing integration processes. In relation to M&A projects, this individual will coordinate due diligence activities with internal teams, assist with the coordination of closing deliverables, engage in the integration process by coordinating functional teams and ensure that the business plan is properly implemented. When time permits, this individual will assist with other strategic corporate projects in a project management role. This opportunity is based out of our global HQ inLake Mary, FL. How you will make a difference @ FARO: Lead project meetings and develop task schedules, deadlines, and milestones for all stakeholders and resources. Constantly monitor and report on the progress of projects to stakeholders and management. Support M&A activities to include, but not limited to: Acquisition Process: Assemble due diligence team and coordinate diligence activities. Ensure diligence questionnaire has been properly answered and follow-up questions and issues are addressed. Coordinate with external deal team members (legal, auditors, valuation experts, etc.) Integration: Ensure integration plan (systems, financial reporting, purchase accounting, operations, customer service, vendor relations, headcount, etc.) is being properly implemented. Engage in calls/meetings with acquired company team to address issues/concerns. Evaluate deliverables prepared by the project team members to make sure the work meets the project requirements and maintains a high level of quality. Construct and administer project management tools. Apply the project management process to provide consistency to all projects. Create, maintain and constantly look for new and improved methods to manage projects and resources. This position requires: Bachelor's Degree required plus at least 5 years of relevant experience 2-5 years of Project Management experience leading projects 2-5 years experience leading and supporting M&A efforts Experience in Agile Project Management methodologies and tools is a plus (Scrum, JIRA etc.) Experience with Midaxo or other project management software Demonstrated proficiency in project management including budgeting and timeline creation Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams Ability to meet tight deadlines Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent meeting facilitation, moderation and presentation skills Ability to manage conflicts FARO has excellent benefits for you and your family.
