Business Development Representative

My client, a company equipping businesses with advanced data tools for location tracking, fuel monitoring, reporting, safety and compliance of their fleet of vehicles, is looking to add to it's team! There is a change in their sales model, a different way that they are selling. They have separated the Business Development role from the Inside Sales role.

They are looking for driven individuals to fill these Business Development roles and nurture potential clients as well as pull in new leads before passing the clients off to the sales team.

This role comes with plenty of opportunity for growth and significant increases in base salary after passing reviews every 6 months!

Job Duties:

  • Nurture warm prospects that are not yet ready to purchase by maintaining the relationship through email and phone conversations and assessing the prospects pain points and drivers for the purchase decision
  • Cold call and prospect for leads to companies
  • Become a product expert and host web appointments with prospects to communicate the value of our product
  • Partner closely with experienced Account Executives to help fill their pipeline
  • Continually increase your product knowledge by working closely with our Training Specialist and Product Development teams
  • Develop and execute prospect specific engagement plans
  • Execute on marketing campaigns that arise such as following up on email marketing
  • Enter and update information in Salesforce.com

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree + interest in sales/commission
  • Associate's Degree + 1 Year Inside Sales Experience
  • Computer savvy
