Maintenance - Full-time / Part-time

A local food manufacturing plant is looking for high level maintenance techs/mechanics on 2nd or 3rd shift, 12 hour shifts.

Job Description:

-On a day to day basis they will be maintaining and repairing equipment such as, conveyors, mixers, hoppers, industrial ovens, and sprayers, PLC's, hot water heaters, automated packaging equipment, valves, and electronics. They are responsible for performing PM's and making quick and efficient repairs.
-Work will be independent and not rely on other maintenance staff to help- they will have to be decisive and confident in their abilities.
-Conduct repairs, maintenance, cleaning and installation of machines to ensure continuous production.
-Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
-Inspect machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards
-General maintenance of building and grounds.
Confers with management and suppliers to resolve maintenance problems and recommends measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment

Qualifications:

-Mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance-2 years of experience
-Troubleshoot hydraulics/pneumatic s- 2 years experience
-Reading and understand blueprints and schematics- 2 years experience
-2 years of experience with diagnostics- be able to diagnose a problem (electronics, mechanics, sensors, invertors etc.)
-1 year experience troubleshooting and repairing automated packaging equipment. (On packaging equipment they must know the following: flow wrapper, metal detectors, vertical wrappers, brands of packaging equipment they worked on, encoders etc.)
Must be efficient in computers to follow PM programs and use maintenance software.
