A world-leader in the production and servicing of industrial railway equipment is currently seeking to fill multiple new job openings for Machine Operators and Laborers.
The Machine Operator and Laborer positions are full-time, with openings available on 2nd and 3rd shift. Machine Operators and Laborers can expect to work overtime on a weekly basis. Overtime on Sundays is voluntary. Machine Operators and Laborers who volunteer to work overtime on Sunday will receive double-time pay.
Machine Operators will be responsible for setting up grinding machines, monitoring the machine's operations, and changing out parts after the production cycle is completed. Machine Operators will be required to stand for up to 12 hours per day, and consistently lift up to 50 pounds. Machine Operators must have 1+ year of previous experience operating industrial production machines, or repair machines such as grinders, CNC machines, manual mills, or manual lathes.
Laborers will be responsible for using various hand and power tools to remove, repair, and replace mechanical components and parts. Laborers will be required to work efficiently in small team to complete their repair jobs. Laborers will be required to stand for up to 12 hours per day, and consistently lift up to 50 pounds. Laborers must have 6+ months of previous experience using hand and power tools to either build or repair mechanical systems.
