Data abstraction at 95% - must understand the abstraction
100 data entries- at a time
If they don't meet the abstraction rate they will be retrained
Software has a data entry sheet that they enter
Medical reconciliation needs to be done on the critical cases
Qualifications:
RN, LPN or Coders (ICD 10, HICKPIC, Must have CPC or AAPC). 2-3 years of experience
Word proficient
Proficient in EMR
Chart review experience
