CAD Designer/Drafter

One of the best stream restoration/ storm water management companies in Maryland is in search for a CAD Designer/Drafter.

Candidates will be required to provide drafting and design support on stream restoration and storm water outfall retrofit projects.

Project tasks range widely from planning, modeling, investigation, cost estimates and analyses, design, permitting, and construction services, all focused on managing and preserving water resources.
Work will involve proposal assistance, technical study, computer modeling, technical report writing, engineering design, construction services support, and interfacing with project partners, clients, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications;

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D

Experience with Site Layout, Site Planning, Alignments, Profiles, Grading, Layer Control, CADD Standards, Pen Tables

Experience with drainage plans, grading plans, Step Pool Storm Conveyance, and Anne Arundel County's Environmental Site Design guidelines are highly preferred.

Work environment: Candidates will be working split between an office environment and the field. The CAD Designer will be expected to travel to locations for quality control purposes.
Some construction management tasks will be required including estimating, coordinating with local agencies, and developing design standards
