Job Description

The Inbound Claims Specialist answers calls on claims that are already in process. The Specialist is responsible for authorizing payment on claims by researching and resolving unresolved issues with both contractors and homeowners.

They will be working on the systems and appliances side of the business - claims will mostly be about HVAC systems and other home appliances.

- research, analyze, and make coverage determinations regarding warranty obligations
- inform homeowners and contractors about coverage determinations
- document all interactions in a written manner using internal systems

Work Environment

-Very focused on employee engagement - food trucks come to the parking lot 3 days / week, hold ping pong tournaments for charity drives, regular pot lucks and team events.

-Still a call center environment - they are held to handle times and call volume standards, so they will be at their desk the majority of the day.

HOURS -
- first 3 weeks are in training: M-F 8am to 4:30pm
- will get their normal schedule in the 4th week. must be available between 6am-6pm M-F and they potentially would have a Saturday as a part of their normal schedule, at least through the end of the year.

We structure those with a Saturday schedule with 4, 9 hour days during the week, with a weekday off + a 4 hour schedule on Saturday, with Sunday off.

Qualifications
- GED or diploma
- customer service experience - call center preferred but not required
- excellent communication skills
- restaurant or retail backgrounds do very well as long as they're comfortable transitioning to a call center
