Knowledge of basic lab tests Job Description: - Safely and efficiently test and inspect products.
- Operate automatic and manual testing equipment, hand tools and instruments, in order to evaluate the properties of the raw materials and finished goods.
- Document data obtained during all quality activities.
They need to be flexible to work weekends and here are the schedules:
* 1st - 7 to 3:30pm
* 2nd - 3pm to 11:30pm
* 3rd - 11pm to 7:30am Work Environment: Chemical manufacturing company, PPE is required and candidates must have their own steel toe shoes. Qualifications: - Background in chemistry (degree) or practical experience.
- Ability to use general lab equipment.
- Internship or prior lab experience Performance Expectations: Candidates will train on the morning shift then 3/4 will move to the night shift. Interview Information: interviews can be anytime Additional Compensation: More benefits available once gone perm with the company Additional Information: Reason for opening is that one employee on the 3rd shift couldn't keep up with the pace and couldn't remember basic testing processes - this person was forgetful / and someone's visa expired.
