Engine Mechanic - Flight Testing - $35/hr

Performing line maintenance focused on engine troubleshooting and repair supporting flight-test activities. This is a long-term contract for someone willing to commit 2+ years in Washington State, specifically Moses Lake.

Conduct initial engine receiving inspection, complete any hardware ship short installations, and/or configuration changes per engine as received work scope to ready engines for flight test service entry

Removal and installation of engine borescope plugs, chip detectors, oil & fuel filters, flight test instrumentation hardware, engine externals, line replaceable units, controls, engine components and minor engine module repair

Remove and install engines on wing

EBU (Engine Build Up) remove and replacement

Perform pre and post flight inspections to determine serviceability, take engine oil samples and service engine oil

Requirements:

• A&P License
• 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience
• Extensive jet engine troubleshooting and repair experience
• Must be open to occasional short-term travel
