Purpose The Engineering Coordinator acts as a liaison between Engineering and Production, communicating and tracking items engineering has approved for procurement

Functions

  • Coordinate execution of ER P's (Engineering Release to Production) Populate, organize & maintain project Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Must be able to forward focus and assist in driving decisions with stakeholders.
  • Must be reasonable in approach and demonstrate listening with an open mind.
  • Exhibits patience and composure in difficult situations and is timely with feedback.
  • Understands and accepts accountability effectively and efficiently All additional duties required, as directed by the Supervisor of Production Services (or designee).
  • Understand and accepts accountability effectively and efficiently.
  • Specifically is looking for someone with an Industrial Engineering background who can analyze and optimize a project plan and schedule preferably.
  • Formal training program of one to three years (vocational, business or technical school); and/or high school diploma and/or an Associate's Degree related to the work.
  • 5 to 8 years working with a multiple departments such as, engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, assembly, quality/testing, and installation
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
    Knowledgeable in MS Word, Excel, and additional is a plus
    Must be able to understand drawings and blueprints
    Strong communication skills
  • Work with the Planner group
  • Show initiative by getting ahead of what is needed
    Do not be afraid to ask for what you don't have
