Aircraft Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

Our client is looking for an A&P mechanic with piston engine experience.

The Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic, reporting to the Director of Maintenance and is responsible to work in a safe manner eliminating waste and delivering a quality product on time.

Essential Job Functions:
Act as lead mechanic for shop

Read and use Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated parts Catalog, Blueprints, ATA Codes, Service Bulletins, routine and non-routines and other related maintenance documents in order to troubleshoot and effectively complete work assignments.

Aerotek is working with a client of ours that is seeking a A&P mechanic that will fill a new LEAD MECHANIC opening.

The candidate does not have to have experience as a lead but must have experience working on turbo prop/piston engine aircraft.

Our client is offering a morning shift (1st shift) opportunity and compensating this new lead mechanic with a rate of $26-30/hr based on experience.
