A large manufacturing company in Cleveland is hiring for CNC machinists. Please review the job description below.
Job Description:
-Need to run be able to run Mills. (NO LATHES)
-Being able to read and understand blueprints
-Working with programs with G & M codes
-Capable of making offset adjustments on a daily basis and setting the X and Y zero points
-Experience with Safety Start Up and Shut Down procedures
-Working on Fanuc and/or Siemens' controls
-Set up and tear downs of material on the vertical mills
-Use 6" scales, calipers, and go-no/go gauges
-Perform job duties successfully.
-Perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
-Ability to document daily activities.
-1 hour of each day will be put aside for documentation.
-Find blueprints/schematics as well for each technician.
-Prioritize work as well because when a machine breaks down he will have to know what to do.
Qualifications:
- Must have Experience with CNC mills
- Must have the ability to read a blueprint
- NO Set up Experience required
- Previous knowledge of Siemens Controls
- Must have the ability to use Calipers.
