About this job
This role supports stability testing for a food science company in Battle Creek, MI. Stability testing is the process finished products go through to establish shelf life based on a variety of conditions to evaluate how long a product can wait on the shelf. This role assists the stability group in completing projects. Will interact with Kelloggs at WKKI, one of the company's largest clients.
Day to Day will involve retrieving samples from different cells, documenting, labeling, pulling samples. This candidate will have to enter a variety of storage conditions, ranging from 70 degree/ 50% humidity rooms up to 100 degree/50% humidity rooms. the candidate will not spend an extended period of time in these cells, will only be to retrieve samples, place samples back in. Candidate will also spend time updating data in computer system, basic data entry similar to inputting information into excel.(data entry, not complex excel work)
Candidate must be comfortable moving 30 to 40 lbs consistently. Pallets of samples are placed in these storage cells, and are moved depending on the need of the stability study.
