Engineering Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Aerotek is hiring an Engineering Technician for a hydraulic manufacturing facility in Sumter, SC. This individual will be responsible for assisting the hiring manager in reviewing current tooling in properly labels and updated within the company database. Work could include:

• Printing out labels/barcodes for manufacturing tooling
• Updating tooling information into the company database
• Assisting operators with with tooling
• Potentially assisting with vendors and suppliers in ordering new tooling
• Assisting in new tooling design
• Performing quality inspection on tooling

Qualifications:

• Experience with CAD (AutoCAD, Creo, or NX) is a plus.
• Knowledge and ability to used Microsoft Excel.
• Education high school diploma or GED required.
• 5 to 7 years relevant work experience .
• Knowledge of production processes, tooling, and fixturing.

Pay:$15-$18/hour, depending on experience
