Manufacturing Engineer

This is a Manufacturing Engineer opening for an industry leading manufacturer of Engine Camshafts and Balance Shafts.

This person will be on the floor about 75% of the time to keep manufacturing processes as efficient as possible. The company has 400 machines on the manufacturing floor and 90% of them do some sort of metal removal. This person will work in the machining department with an entry level engineer as their mentee. Some responsibilities will include: supporting quoting activities, working with designers on tooling design for manufacturability, new product launches, etc. They will also be responsible for directing cell technicians and supporting daily production. This candidate's focus will always be around continuous improvement (scrap reduction, better run-it rates, less machine down time, etc.).

2) Ability to Troubleshoot CNCs
3) 5+ Yrs. Problem Solving
