JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Clinical Supervisor is directly responsible to the Executive Director for the day-to-day operations of the program's clinical services. The Clinical Supervisor manages the functioning of treatment service teams, which provide a wide array of community - based mental health and family support services. These services may include: Intensive Family Services, Wraparound (Family Vision), Crisis Services, Foster Care Assessment and Treatment, School - Based Treatment, Day Treatment, and Outpatient Mental Health.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitors and controls the delivery of mental health services in accordance with Agency standards and acceptable professional practices.
  • Monitors and ensures that documentation and case records are developed and maintained in accordance with agency and Medi-Cal standards.
  • Provide clinical supervision and performance management of program staff.
  • In partnership with the Training Manager, develops, maintains, and assures implementation of on-the-job training and orientation of new staff.
  • Monitors and controls the referral and intake process, maintaining high quality service delivery and good working relations within the community being served.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance systems and reporting programs related to clinical services, and participates on Quality Improvement teams as assigned.
  • Provides clinical and case management services.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with community agencies and stakeholders.
  • Provide on - call services.
Job Requirements
  • Completion of a clinical program with a Masters or Ph.D. degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field of behavioral or medical science from an accredited educational institution.
  • Two years post licensure and/or post masters management experience in a related field.
  • Must possess a license in California as a mental health clinician (MFT, LCSW, Ph.D.).
  • Must possess a valid California driver's license, and driving record that meets the standards outlined in the Agency's Personnel Policy, Motor Vehicle Operating Standards. Must possess personal automobile insurance consistent with the standard outlined in the Agency's Personnel Policy, Motor Vehicle Operating Standards.
  • Must be physically and mentally fit to work with potentially violent clients in accordance with the Agency's Physical and Mental Fitness Standards Personnel Policy. Must be willing to complete a health screening physical examination that includes a drug screen and back screen.
  • Must be willing to complete a personal background investigation conducted by the State of California.
  • Must obtain First Aid Certification.
  • Must have good oral and writing skills in the English language, including the ability to write concise, informative professional reports and assigned documentation in a timely manner_
  • Must be willing to work within a culturally integrated workplace, and be willing to respect human differences based upon protected classes as defined in Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, or any other condition that distinguishes people from one another.
  • Must be flexible to work nights and weekends, may need to work a split - shift, varying schedule according to the operational need.
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous management experience in a mental health setting.
  • Previous work with severely emotionally disturbed children.
  • Possess basic knowledge related to public regulations and guidelines governing the operations of mental health programs.
  • Previous experience working within a Medi-Cal certified site, and familiarity with Medi-Cal billable standards and expectations.
Salary Range - $74300 - $79300
