CPC is seeking a Food Service Worker that will provide cooking and light kitchen cleaning services at the residential facility. These services shall include, but are not limited to; preparing meals at the residential facilities, serving food, sweeping, mopping and wiping down work areas as needed. Assist as necessary in maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and dining room areas.

We currently have two positions available at these CPC’s facilities:

  • Full-time job position at our Cascade Hall location.
  • Part-time job position at our Keystone location.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food according to rotating menu system and serve during mealtimes at residential facilities.
  • Maintain and safely use all kitchen equipment.
  • Properly store all leftover food as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining room areas.
  • Clean and sanitize all dishes, eating and cooking utensils, and equipment used in the preparation of meals following each meal.
  • Attends supervision as scheduled. Maintains communications with supervisor and other staff.
  • Maintains safe and sanitary work environment.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Agency Policies and Procedures through quality performance of daily duties.

Skills Required

  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn skills in general building sanitation, and to master tasks after a brief period of instruction.
  • Ability to work safely with a variety of kitchen tools and equipment, and cleaning products.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully work independently, with little or infrequent supervision.
  • Knowledge of solutions, chemicals and pertinent cleaning supplies

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years’ experience in general food service area preferred.
  • Food services in an institutional or Health Care setting preferred.
