We need a ROCKSTAR Cake Decorator!!
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Primary responsibilities include the artistic design and decoration with buttercream of custom and standard cakes and product offerings.
- Proficient in decorating cakes and desserts with intricate designs while utilizing icing bags and/or paper cones and tips.
- Capable of developing the appropriate icing tinting based on custom order specifications.
- Maintain the quality standards in the creation of each product.
- Handling any custom cake decorating requests
- Build and finish custom cakes
- Build and finish specialty cakes
- Preparation of product offerings in accordance with company standards, recipes, and procedures
- Preparation of buttercreams
- Provide cupcake finishing, frosting, sprinkles, and inscriptions
- Restock bakery cases when necessary
- Learn and perform all culinary shifts as needed including but not limited to -Open, Cupcake I, Bake, Cakes, Bake, Open and Close
- Other culinary related tasks as requested
- Minimum two (2) years of experience decorating special occasion, invitation, font match and wedding cakes
- Thorough knowledge of the safe operation of bakery equipment
- Previous experience working in a high volume environment preferred
- Experience working with buttercream icing
