Banquet Service Manager - Great Company Culture

Banquet Service Manager Responsibilities:
  • Maintains organization for banquet service areas.
  • Assigns work/functions to banquet captains and server.
  • Maintains up-to-date details on banquet functions and communicates changes.
  • Responsible for hiring and initial training of all catering service associates
  • Responsible for any ongoing training of captains/hourly service associates which is necessary to maintain our standards of service and profit margins
  • Responsible for labor costs of all service associates.
  • Communicates with event managers in obtaining menu guarantees and guest comments
  • Directly supervises the work on banquet captains and personally observes the performance of hourly service personnel
  • Directly responsible for the grooming standards and appearance of all catering service associates
  • Ensures that all scheduled catering functions take place on time and according to plan.
Banquet Service Manager Requirements:
  • 2-3 Years of upscale food service management.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of wine service and proper service standards.
  • Good attitude and high energy level.
Banquet Service Manager Benefits
